Troy Baptiste has been re-elected as Chief of the ?Esdilagh First Nation.
Baptiste was given a second term in an election that was held yesterday. (Monday)
He received a total of 78 votes.
Anthony Johnny was a distant second with 28 and Chad Stump had 25.
131 of 246 eligible voters cast a ballot.
William Baptiste was elected to a four year term on Council and Jeffrey Magwood to a two year.
They tied in votes with 49 and a draw of names was required to break the tie.
Donelda Mitchell narrowly miss out at getting a seat on Council with 47 votes.
There were 6 people running for two Council positions.
