Boil Water Advisory for Lac La Hache

There is a boil water advisory for Lac La Hache.

The Cariboo regional District has issued the notice due to a pump failure.

All users of the Lac La Hache Water System are asked to bring water to a rolling boil before using water from the system for:

– Drinking (or use an alternate, safe source of water)
– Cooking (if not boiled)
– Brushing teeth
– Washing dishes
– Washing fruits and vegetables to be eaten raw

Users are also advised to use hand sanitizer after washing hands.

The Advisory remains in effect until further notice.
