Drive BC confirmed the vehicle incident at Canim-Hendrix Lake Road has been cleared.
They warn drivers to expect some delays as congestion clears.
BC Hydro has also arrived on scene and are working to restore power for 3179 customers.
The outage began at 10:37am, and is estimated to be restored at 8:10pm.

Highway 97 between Exeter Station Road and Canim-Hendrix Lake Road is closed in both directions.
Drive BC confirmed the closure is due to a vehicle incident, and a detour is in effect through Exeter Truck Road.
The accident has also caused a power outage affecting 3179 people, with BC Hydro on their way.
Power has been out since 10:37am.
Drive BC said to watch for traffic control, and expect delays, with their next update at 1:00pm.
