City of Williams Lake looking for newcomer thoughts through a survey

The City of Williams Lake is wanting to hear from newer residents of their community experience.

This is in partnership with the Cariboo Regional District and Williams Lake and District Chamber of Commerce, allowing those who’ve been in the City for up to five years to fill a 10 question survey.

Manager of Economic Development, Beth Veenkamp says the information would be presented at a later date.

“When people look at the survey, there may be some questions that speak to them and some that don’t, and we just really appreciate any kind of thoughts that newcomers in our community would like to share with this large group that’s gathering on September 4th.”

Veenkamp says the information they get is useful, letting them know what’s happening in real time.

She added the survey must be completed by August 26th, and results will be shared at an upcoming Recruitment and Retention meeting.

Registration for the meeting is open for September 4th at Signal Point Gaming’s Pioneer Room from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
