100 Mile House RCMP were called out to a vehicle stuck a ditch, with a possible impaired driver.
Back on July 21st, police located the vehicle that was driving on Bradley Creek Road, and after stopping the vehicle, the driver displayed symptoms of alcohol consumption.
Sergeant Brian Lamb says open liquor was seen in the vehicle.
“The male was arrested and after a breath demand was issued, he refused to provide a sample of his breath.” says Lamb.
“A search of the vehicle was conducted where a firearm and ammunition were located which the male was not authorized to be in possession of. The firearm and ammunition were seized.”
Lamb says the male was held in custody and was released to attend court at a later date.
The male was also given an immediate roadside prohibition from driving for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
