The Dana Johansen rink won this year’s 56th annual Ladies “Wheel and Spiel” at the Quesnel Curling Club this weekend.
Johansen and her teammates…third Darla Duguid, 2nd Carol Richter and lead Cara Kardynal…defeated the Terry Shpak rink 11-5 in the A-final.
The Johansen rink won the B final back in 2015.
The Wendy Needham foursome won the B this year.
They beat Ev Lawson’s team in a very close game that was tied after 7 ends.
And the Whitney Christy rink captured the C in another close game over Brena Ernst.
A total of 21 rinks took part this year.
