Update: Missing 14 year old found safe and sound

Updated 8:15 am, Wednesday, July 17th:

RCMP have confirmed the 14-year-old has been located, and is safe and sound.

Original Story:

Williams Lake RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in finding JC Frankee David-Wale.

Police said David-Wale was reported missing on Tuesday, July 16th, and is described as:

• Indigenous female
• 14 years old
• 5’ 6” (167 cm)
• 120 lbs (54 kgs)
• Shoulder length dark brown hair
• Brown eyes
• Last seen wearing a black hoodie, black camo pants with shorts over top, black converse
shoes carrying a blue Santa Cruise backpack

They added she was last seen at around 11:30 pm on Monday, July 15th.

If anyone has any information about David-Wale, or where she may be, is asked to contact Williams Lake RCMP at 250-392-6211.

Big Donation Gives a Big Step for Quesnel Search and Rescue

The Quesnel Search and Rescue received a $5,000 donation from the Quesnel Elks Lodge #298. The Director of Quesnel Search and Rescue says donation will be going towards advancing the Search and Rescue's technical rope rescue kit.
