Update
BC Hydro reports power now restored to all those customers who were affected by the outage earlier this morning.
**Original Story**
BC Hydro is reporting 3,176 have been without power since 8:54 this morning due to a motor vehicle incident.
The outage is affecting the South-East of CARIBOO HWY 97 CENTRAL and North-West of CARIBOO HWY 97 HWY.
BC Hydro said crews are on site and that power is estimated to be returned by noon.
