Over $1,000 raised during ALS Golfathon in Williams Lake

Williams Lake Golf and Tennis Club took part in this year’s PGA of BC Golfathon for ALS.

Back on June 19th, golfers Rob Yaworski and Brad Fodchuck played from 7:00am to 8:00pm laying as many holes and raising as much money as possible.

The ALS Society of BC said both ended up playing 85 holes each, totaling 170, while also raising $1,787.20.

This was the 10th year the club has been apart of the fundraising event, joining 36 other golf facilities for this year.

Before this year’s fundraising event, the club had raised $22,800.

More information and where to donate can be found on the PGA of BC Golfathon website here.
