A man accused of striking a person with an ATV was arrested in West Quesnel on Monday night.
Sergeant Matt Isaak says RCMP received a call at around 10-20 p.m.
“The Quesnel RCMP responded to a report of an ATV driving dangerously in the area of Lewis Drive. Witnesses reported that the driver of the ATV had struck a person resulting in minor injuries. RCMP responded and took a 21-year old male into custody.”
Isaak says witnesses assisted in detaining the man prior to their arrival.
He says the suspect has since been released from custody on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
