100 Mile House RCMP responded to an accident involving two vehicles and an injured driver.
Just after 6:50pm yesterday, Police, BC Ambulance and 100 Mile House Fire-Rescue arrived to the 5000 Block of Horse Lake Road just outside 100 Mile House.
Sergeant Brian Lamb says the cause of the accident was determined to be alcohol.
“Members attended and determined that a vehicle had rear ended another vehicle that was travelling in the same direction on Horse Lake Road.” says Lamb.
“One of the drivers was injured as a result of the crash and received medical attention.”
Lamb says a breath test was conducted, and the driver was issued an immediate roadside prohibition of three days, with the vehicle being towed.
As for the driver that was injured, it wasn’t believed to have been life threatening, and they did not go to the hospital.
