The Felker/Chimney Lake Community Hall is about to have a new look.
The Cariboo Regional District has committed $45,000 from it’s Community Works Funds allocation for the installation of solar panels.
The money will be supporting another energy efficient program in the Cariboo.
Once completed, the CRD says the system is expected to produce 18,250 kilowatts per year and save $2,400 annually in energy costs.
