Lakers Car Club Spring Round Up returning this weekend in Williams Lake

The Lakers Car Club will be showing off various cars for it’s Spring Round Up in Williams Lake.

Events will be starting on Saturday, May 25th, with registrations at the Tourism Discovery Centre at 11:00am, and a roundup poker run from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.

Lakers Car Club President, Josh Schellenberg talks about the evening cruise around the City.

“Saturday we’ll be having our crews at 4:00 through town leaving the Tourism Discovery Centre, up the highway then all the way up to 11th and 12th Ave, doing a loop down to the seniors home, and down western.”

From there, Schellenberg says they will reach Carson then back to Signal Point for dinner.

Sunday is when the Show and Shine will begin, with gates opening at 8:00am, and the event starting at 10:00am on Oliver Street and 1st Ave.

Last year they had roughly 250 cars apart of the show, which they hope to have a similar amount this year.

Registrations will be at the Tourism Discovery Centre at 11:00am on Saturday, apply to register right at the show, or on their website.
