Vigils Across the Cariboo

Two slain military members will be honored tomorrow morning in vigils across the Cariboo.

Veterans and non-veterans alike are encouraged to pay their respects at the ten a-m ceremony located at Cenotaphs at the Community Hall in 100 Mile House, and at City Hall in Williams Lake.

Bob Wagensteen, a veteran and President of Canadian Legion Branch 260 in 100 Mile House, says the vigils will honor those fallen and show solidarity that Canadians are resolute.

The ceremonies will honor this week’s tragic deaths of Corporal Nathan Cirillo and Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent in separate incidents.
