Quesnel School Trustees approve more than 1.7 million dollars in capital spending

Quesnel’s Board of Education has endorsed a small capital budget worth $1,743,700.

The money will go towards four projects in total.

The largest, worth almost 1.5 million, is for an exterior wall system upgrade at Bouchie Lake Elementary School.

$170,000 will go towards electrical upgrades at Parkland Elementary, 55 grand will be spent on kitchen equipment and an upgrade at Correlieu Secondary, and the remaining $28,700 is for kitchen equipment at Ecole Red Bluff Lhtako, Riverview, and Voyageur Elementary Schools.
