Williams Lake one win away from under-15 tier 2 hockey championship !

 Williams Lake will be going for gold a the under-15 tier two hockey provincials in Salmon Arm.
   Linkoln Philpotts broke a 1-1 tie in the second period and the Lake City went on to a 2-1 victory over the Peninsula Eagles from North Sanich in the semi-finals this morning.
   They will now play Port Moody in the championship game tonight at 8 o’clock.
   Host Quesnel will go for bronze tonight at the under-15 tier 3 provincials.
   They lost 6-1 to a powerful New Westminster club in the semi-finals this morning.
   Quesnel will battle Powell River for third place.
   Game time is 5 o’clock at the West Fraser Centre.
