The 100 Mile House and District Women’s Centre will be holding a day of remembrance for Vesna Dumstrey-Soos whose body was found at her home on Jan 4.
Executive Director for the Centre Sonja Ramsay was a personal friend to Vesna.
She says she feels that holding such an event is an important step in the grieving process.
“Saturday is basically a circle that we are creating in a place where Vesna spent a lot of time and we are going to get together and remember her and honor her and cry for her.”
The healing circle will take place on Saturday at 4 pm in the At Ease Wellness Studio in the South Cariboo Business Centre.
Provincial Crown Counsel approved first-degree murder charges against 46-year-old Michael Martel of 100 Mile House on Jan. 7.
