Residents signed up for the Cariboo Chilcotin Emergency Notification System can expect a notification in the coming days.
The Cariboo Regional District Emergency Operations Centre posted on social media that the test will be happening on Tuesday, March 12th at 10:00am.
Registered devices will get the notification, which is to alert residents of an evacuation alert or order, utility service disruptions, and other emergency alerts.
The alert system, which uses VoyentAlert, was implemented earlier this year to make it easier to use and manage data.
