Quesnel is in the market for some new physicians

Northern Health has confirmed that five physicians will be leaving Quesnel in the coming months.
It adds however that there are at lest four anticipated family physician arrivals between March of this year and March of 2025.
Northern Health says it will also continue to aggressively recruit to mitigate any net loss of primary care providers practicing in Quesnel.
As of December 31st, Northern Health says Quesnel’s physician complement was 26.9 full time equivalent (FTE), which represents 29 individual practitioners, with 5.5 FTE vacancies.
There are currently no specialist vacancies.
It is recommended that anyone without a primary care provider should register online at https://www.healthlinkbc.ca/health-connect-registry
Other options include the Northern Health Virtual Primary and Community Care Clinic, use of other virtual health services (including FNHA Doctor of the Day), or seeing a pharmacist for minor ailments.
