Weather And Road Conditions In The South Cariboo Made For A Busy Sunday For RCMP

A change in the weather over the weekend kept 100 Mile House RCMP busy.

On Sunday police and Emergency Health Services responded to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 97 near Exeter Station Truck Route.

Police said the vehicle was located in the ditch on its roof and the driver who was the lone occupant was not injured.

Road and weather conditions at the time were a factor.

That same day RCMP were called to a single vehicle collision on Highway 97 near the 108 Heritage Site.

When police arrived they found it up against a cement barricade and it was partially blocking the south lane.

There were no injuries and the vehicle was towed from the roadway.

Police said the weather made for very icy roads in the 100 Mile House area on Sunday but no other collisions were reported that day.
