ATV Crash Over The Weekend In Williams Lake Claimed A Life

Williams Lake RCMP responded to a collision involving an ATV over the weekend.

North District RCMP Corporal Madonna Saunderson said just after 11:30 on Friday night (February 23) it was reported that the driver went over a cliff and down a steep embankment near the Williams Lake River Valley Trail.

The adult male was deceased at the scene.

On Saturday afternoon (February 24) just after 4, Saunderson said Williams Lake RCMP responded to a reported collision at the intersection of Oliver Street and 8th Avenue.

“One vehicle, a black Ford Focus, did not remain at the scene but was located by police about 150 metres down Oliver Street,” Saunderson said, “Two people were seen leaving on foot toward Save On Foods.”

Investigations into both incidents continue.
