Drug bust and arrest in 100 Mile House

   100 Mile House RCMP, along with the Cariboo-Chilcotin Crime Reduction Unit, made an arrest following a drug bust.
   Sergeant Brian Lamb says police executed a search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of Cedar Avenue back on January 30th.
   “Police located approximately 20 grams of suspected Fentanyl, 40 grams of suspected Cocaine, 20 grams of suspected Methamphetamine, hundreds of various prescription pills including unknown pills being sold as fake prescription opioids.”
   Lamb says they also seized several imitation firearms.
   He says one person was taken into custody.
   “A 42-year old female resident was arrested at this location and subsequently released to attend court at a later date.”
   Lamb says the investigation continues but charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking as well as a Breach of a Court Order relating to another unrelated event will be proposed.
