Wanted Man Sem Weiss May Be In Merritt Area

RCMP continue their efforts to locate a wanted man.

In a release, North District Corporal Madonna Saunderson said 23-year-old Sem Weiss who is wanted for a home invasion and stabbing out of Williams Lake back on January 14th, is also wanted on a Canada Border Services Agency Canada wide warrant for his removal from Canada.

Police have since learned that he may be in the Merritt area.

Saunderson said Weiss should be considered dangerous and under no circumstances should you approach or try to apprehend him.

If you see Sem Weiss or have any information on his whereabouts to call 9-1-1 immediately.

He’s described as a Caucasian male with red hair, green eyes, and a thin build.
