There is now a solution for people in Quesnel with nowhere to go to escape the cold 

   Quesnel residents looking for a place to escape the bitter cold now have a place to go.
   The City and two of its partners, the Quesnel Native Friendship Centre and the Quesnel Shelter and Support Society, have worked out a plan.
   Director of Development Services Tanya Turner says they have opened up a warming centre at the Friendship Centre.
   She says it will open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., and It will remain open as long as it stays cold.
   Turner says Seasons House will be allowing additional occupants as well during this cold stretch, between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
