Wells Fire Chief Dennis Manuel says it was the biggest fire they’ve had in his 10 years.
Volunteer Firefighters were called out to a structure fire at around 10:30 pm last night.
Manuel describes what they were faced with…
Manuel says no one was hurt in the fire.
He says the lone occupant managed to make it out safely and Manuel says they were able to prevent the fire from spreading into any of the other three units.
Manuel says unfortunately the one unit was pretty much destroyed.
The cause remains under investigation although Manuel says he has absolutely no reason to think it is suspicious.
He says a total of 6 members responded to the fire.
