RCMP say charges laid against dangerous driver in Quesnel

A 24-year old man is being charged after fleeing from police and putting the public at risk.

Staff Sergeant Clay Kronebusch says Quesnel RCMP attempted to conduct a traffic stop with a vehicle on Barlow Avenue near Reid Street at around 3 a.m. back on October 1st.

“The vehicle sped away at a high rate of speed, failing to stop at multiple stop signs. The police investigation was able to identify the driver of the vehicle. Charges have been laid against Jackson Nickolet for dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.”

Nickolet is scheduled to appear in court on December 19th.
