Shots Fired Leads To An Arrest In The South Cariboo

One person was arrested following a report of shots being fired in 100 Mile House.

RCMP say they were called to the 6000 block of Houseman Road this past Thursday. (November 9th)

Upon arrival, it was determined two shots were fired from the outer doorway of the residence.

Police say they do not believe the male was targeting anything specific and that no residences, property or persons were in the line of fire.

The man was held in custody and then released the following day on a promise to appear in court at a later date for careless use of a firearm and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

RCMP say several firearms were also seized from the residence for public safety.
