City of Quesnel releases budget survey for residents

The City of Quesnel has put out a survey for their upcoming 2024 budget.

The survey was released for residents to take, as the City preps their operating and capital budgets for the new year.

In a release they said that “The City must provide quality services and maintain aging infrastructure with limited tax dollars.”

Every year, the City creates a detailed budget that allows them to determine how tax dollars are to be spent, as they look for input from residents on developing priorities.

They note that budgets are a balancing act.

Those looking to take the survey can do so on the City of Quesnel’s website, or can get a print version at City Hall.

The survey is open until December 8th, 2023.
