Wranglers Looking To End Their Home Winless Streak

It’s a tale of two teams.

The Kelowna Chiefs with only one win on the road will be in 100 Mile House tomorrow night to play the Wranglers who have yet to win a home game.

Head Coach Dale Hladun says the last time they hooked up, his club skated away with an overtime victory in Kelowna.

“They’re definitely a competitive, they do play with and edge. Their forwards will fly the zones so what that means if they get the puck in their defensive zone they’re going to exist early and create a horse race for loose out in the neutral zone and beyond. There will be a lot of speed out of Kelowna, I think our guys can adapt to that so I do think it will be a toe to toe game tomorrow night.”

Hladun said it’s good to be back in front of their home fans and the kids love playing for them.

“We do appreciate their support. We do desperately want to get a victory for our fans. They supported the kids right to the end but we owe them a victory here so hopefully tomorrow night they’re going to get that win.”

Puck drop is tomorrow night (November 11) at 7 at the South Cariboo Rec Centre.
