City Councillor Mitch Vik, the Chair of the Financial Sustainability and Audit Committee, provided an updated at this week’s meeting.

The snow removal budget is set at 1.27 million dollars.
The city spent approximately 1.4 million dollars last year and has been over budget in 11 of the past 14 years.
The city does have a snow reserve.
At last report it was sitting at 380 thousand dollars.
