Horse Lake water supply to be impacted by well maintenance

The Cariboo Regional District has issued a notice for upcoming well maintenance for Horse Lake, east of 100 Mile House.

On Monday, October 23rd, the well will be out of commission for around 24 hours starting around noon until Tuesday around noon.

In the release, they said the well will be cleaned and disinfected to maintain safe water supply to the Horse Lake area.

The CRD added that there won’t be water available to replenish the system’s supply, except for what’s available in the reservoir.

During maintenance, they asks people in the area to reduce their water usage as much as possible, and to not do laundry, wash vehicles, water lawns, etc.

More information can be found on the Cariboo Regional District’s Website here.
