Williams Lake RCMP responded to a single vehicle incident on Highway 97.
Police, along with BC Ambulance Service, arrived on scene north of Williams Lake at around 10:00am this morning (October 19th), where they located an abandoned vehicle.
“Information on scene suggested that something occurred, resulting in a vehicle going off road.” says Staff Sargent Brad McKinnon.
“One male occupant who’s still unidentified at this time was confirmed as departing the scene on foot uninjured, and declining assistance from the BC Ambulance Service.”
McKinnon added that the cause is still unknown, and that the incident is still under active investigation.
