The City of Williams Lake signed an updated memorandum of understanding with the Williams Lake Central Business Improvement (WLCBIA) Area last night.
Mayor Kerry Cook says the signing is a good step in the right direction.
Cook says the city has been working closely with the WLCBIA.
The updated memorandum will provide a framework for the WLCBIA and City to work together on projects and initiatives in a cooperative manner that achieves the goals of both parties.
The original Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Williams Lake and WLCBIA was signed in 2012.
