Six Straight W’s For Cariboo Cougars

The Cariboo Cougars remain white hot heading into the Christmas break.

They won two more games on the road this weekend stretching their overall winning streak up to 6 games.

Williams Lake’s Chase Dubois had a pair of goals and 2 assists in a 6-2 win against the Greater Vancouver Canadians in Richmond on Saturday.

Quesnel’s Ty Kolle had a goal and an assist as well.

Williams Lake’s Trey Thomas held the hot hand on Sunday with 2 goals and 2 helpers in a 7-1 win.

The Cougars are now 17-6 and 3, tied for first place overall with the Valley West Hawks, although they have played two more games than the Hawks.

They will now defend their title at the Mac’s midget hockey tournament in Calgary with their first game on Boxing Day.
