In case there was any doubt, Environment Canada confirms that Cariboo residents can expect a white Christmas this year.
Meteorologist Lisa Coldwells says up to 10 centimeters of the white stuff is expected today (Dec 18) and she says it will stay through Christmas and the New Year.
Coldwells says we can expect cloudy skies and normal temperatures for this time of year…roughly -4 degrees for a high and in the -11 to -13 range for a low.
She says after today there won’t be any major snowfalls over the next week but there will be some snow under mostly cloudy skies.
