Human remains located on a residence in Likely last month have now been identified.
The North District Major Crime Unit and the BC Coroner Service have identified the found remains as those of Gary Price.
Police say Price, 60 years old at the time, was reported missing in February of 2013.
RCMP say he vanished without a trace after taking a run to Likely for groceries from his remote home in the Yanks Peak area.
Police say his disappearance is suspicious in nature.
Anyone with information is asked to call the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
