Quesnel Good Cheer Into The Home Stretch

Think you have a big grocery bill ?
Does it beat $56,000 ?
That’s how much Good Cheer in Quesnel spent last year during their Christmas Hamper campaign.
Coordinator Dianne Greenwood says the time to donate food and toys is running out as they will start packing the hampers on Thursday (Dec 17) morning.
She says they still need toys for 8 to 12 year olds.
Greenwood says people need to get their names in for a hamper by Friday at 4.
They will go out on Saturday and Sunday.
Greenwood says they have about 720 requests for Christmas hampers so far and she excepts that number to grow by another hundred.
While the deadline for food and toys is fast approaching, Greenwood points out that they accept cash donations all year round.
