3 More Sun Downs To Go Before The Start Of The 95th Annual Williams Lake Stampede

Preparations are ramping up as the days are winding down to the start of the 95th Annual Williams Lake Stampede.

Court Smith, Stampede Association President, said the schedule of events are similar to last year only they’ve switched things around for the opening.

“We have sanctioned bull riding on Thursday (June29) night this year starting at 7 o’clock, that will just be bull riding and we have some local events added in as well. It was very successful last year and we’re hoping and expecting the same this year.”

He added there’s always things to be done at the last minute but they’re working hard so that rodeo fans can have a great weekend.
