District Of 100 Mile House Promotes Within To Fill Chief Executive Officer Role

The District of 100 Mile House has a new Chief Administrative Officer.

Mayor Maureen Pinkney said while they were looking for a replacement, they went over the criteria, the District’s needs, as well as the best fit for town council and the employees, and hired from within.

“We are very fortunate that our very own staff member that has worked up through the ranks, working with us for, I think over 20 years now at the District, is our new CAO Officer and that’s Tammy Boulanger.”

Pinkney added she’s happy with the choice and that another person inside the District was also chosen to fill Boulanger’s vacant position.

“We are just so pleased that not only Tammy is our new CAO Officer which she is 100 percent capable of doing the job, so we’re thrilled with that. Our Corporate Secretary is moving up to be Director of Financial Administration so she will go into Tammy’s role.”

Pinkney noted that Boulanger will start her new position July first and Roy Scott, current CAO, will stay in a consulting position with the District.
