Time Running Out To Apply For An Event Hosting Grant In Williams Lake

The deadline to apply for a City of Williams Lake Event Hosting Grant is today (May 30).

Twice annually the City disperses $2,500 to assist local non-profit organizations to bid, host, develop, grown, market and administer multi-day events bringing in visitors from outside the community.

Applicants must be local registered non-profit organizations and the event must take place over more than one day between the months of September and February.

Successful applicants will meet criteria outlined in the City’s Event Hosting Grant Policy that is available online www.williamslake.ca/154/Event-Hosting-Grants.

Successful applicants will be notified following the application deadline.

The Event Hosting Grant was introduced in 2011 and has helped non-profit organizations such as the Williams Lake Minor Hockey Association, The Lakers Car Club, and others.
