Williams Lake Yard Works open house returned after multi year hiatus

Williams Lake residents were able to attend the Yard Works open house today, and see the equipment that gets used.

Kids were even able to go on the bucket truck, which lifted them into the sky, and even use the backhoe tractor.

Rob Warnock, Director of Municipal Services, says it’s good to have the open house once again.

“They did a couple open houses I think 2018-2019, and then of course COVID.” says Warnock.

“It’s been three years, so this is the first one since and I think it’s been a good turnout, and good for the public to come down and see our equipment.”

The equipment that was shown off included a fire truck, zamboni, and an airport truck.
