The accused in a stabbing incident in Quesnel will be back in court on July 20th for a pre-sentence report.
26-year old Joseph Kendall Oester pleaded guilty to a charge of assault causing bodily harm back in October.
Oester was also charged with assault with a weapon.
The charges are in connection with an incident at Seasons House on Carson Avenue in February of last year.
Quesnel RCMP were called to the 100 block of Carson Avenue back in February of last year where they discovered that a man had been stabbed in a dwelling unit.
Police said at the time that the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
