More than 100 local governments and First Nations will benefit from the Community Emergency Preparedness Fund.
In the Cariboo Lhtako Dene Nation will receive just under $30-thousand ($29,995.40) for the EOC communications centre.
The Cariboo Regional District will be getting  $7,280 for emergency operation centre mobilization equipment and training.
Nearly $3 million will assist in purchasing and installing equipment and supplies to maintain or improve emergency operations centres as well as training and exercises.
This past February the province committed a further $180 million to the Community Emergency Preparedness Fund bringing the total to $369 million.
The fund was established in 2017.
