The first of three open houses on the upcoming pool referendum in Quesnel will take place tonight. (Wednesday)
It will be held between 4 and 7 o’clock at the Bouchie Lake Community Hall.
The Cariboo Regional District and the City of Quesnel are proposing major upgrades for the swimming pool at the Rec Centre, and the CRD is seeking authorization to borrow up to 35 million dollars to finance it.
Elected officials and staff from the City and the CRD will be at the open house to answer questions and provide more information.
There is another open house tomorrow (Thursday) night in the gym at Ecole Red Bluff Lhtako Elementary School, and the final one will be next week on Thursday, June 1st at the Royal Canadian Legion
The referendum will take place on June 10th.
