Two people arrested following a violent incident in Williams Lake this week have now been charged.
49-year old Laura Taylor and 32-year old Daniel Cahoose are each facing one count of aggravated assault.
They are due back in court on May 24th.
Williams Lake RCMP were called to a motel on 7th Avenue just after 5 o’clock on Wednesday afternoon for a report that a person had been stabbed multiple times.
Police quickly identified two suspects and went to a home on 2nd Avenue where they were believed to be.
Several streets were shut down and after several hours an adult male and an adult female were arrested.
Police say the male victim was taken to hospital and at last report was in stable condition.
