Williams Lake accepting applications for 2023 Event Hosting Grant

The City of Williams Lake is looking for applicants for the May 2023 semi-annual Event Hosting Grant.

The goal for the grant is to attract new events, and grow the already existing ones, while bringing in new opportunities to Williams Lake.

The grant was introduced in 2011, and has helped non-profit organizations such as the Williams Lake Minor Hockey Association, The Lakers Car Club, and others.

In a release from the City, they said that $5,000 has been allocated from the annual budget for the grant.

They added that applicants must be a local registered non profit organization, with the event taking place for more than a day.

More information on the Event Hosting Grant, and how to apply, can be found on the City’s website here.
