Rash of Vehicle Thefts Being Investigated By Williams Lake RCMP

Several vehicles were targeted over the weekend in Williams Lake.

RCMP Corporal Shane Nicoll says they received numerous calls, including overnight, of theft from motor vehicles or attempted theft.

Nicoll says they have a number of investigators tasked out looking into these thefts, tracking down suspects and identifying evidence.

He says the areas where they occurred were the Stampede Grounds, Canadian Tire parking lot and South Lakeside.

Police say if anyone has been victimized by to let them know right away and if there is any video of any thefts to turn it in to the detachment.
