RCMP seeking public assistance in finding violent offender

Prince George RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a violent offender known to travel to Williams Lake.

31 year old Trevor Lyndon Alexis was released on conditions to attend probation and to be fitted with electronic monitoring upon his release on April 13th.

Police say he failed to attend his probation, and was not fitted with the electronic monitoring device, and are unsure of his whereabouts.

Alexis is wanted on seven unendorsed warrants for the following offences:

– Break and enter to commit and offence
– Theft under $5000
– Possession of stolen property less than $5000
– Possession of a firearm with out a license x2
– Possession of a firearm while prohibited x2
– Breach of release order

He’s described as:

• Indigenous male
• 6’2” (188 cm)
• 210 lb (95 kg)
• Short, black hair
• Brown eyes
• Full sleeve of tattoos (unknown which arm)

Police believe Alexis poses a significant risk to public safety, as he’s known to possess weapons.
