Emergency crews attend late night vehicle rollover

On May 2nd, emergency crews in the South Cariboo attended a single vehicle rollover.

100 Mile House Fire-Rescue, along with Lone Butte Volunteer Fire Department, RCMP, and ambulance arrived at Highway 24, by the Bucki Crescent turnoff at around 11:30pm.

“Our crews upon arrival observed a vehicle that was on it’s side, and subsequently we were able to extricate a few pets from the vehicle, three dogs, as well as the person that was in the vehicle.” says Roger Hollander, 100 Mile House Fire Chief.

“The person that was in the vehicle, had minor injuries and there was no obvious injuries to the animals.”

Corporal Steve Roney, 100 Mile RCMP, said the cause was unknown, with no investigation being conducted for the accident.
