100 Mile House Wranglers Captain commits to Arizona State University

Forward Ethan Sanders of the 100 Mile House Wranglers has signed with the Arizona Sun Devils for the 2023-2024 season.

In a release from the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League, they said that Sanders still had a year of junior hockey eligibility, but chose to take the Sun Devils offer.

Sanders will be studying sports management, to become a player agent, and said he feels he’s joining a strong program that plays in a competitive league (American Collegiate Hockey Association).

He spent two seasons with the Wranglers, tallying 23 goals and 24 assists in 72 games.

Sanders captained the team to the playoffs this year, the first time since the 2019-2020 season where their run was cancelled due Covid-19.

More information on the 100 Mile House Wranglers can be found on their website here.
